Angela is a born crafter and she is passionate about many crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, stain glass, and pottery.

Being creative started for her at a young age. She made her first toddler dress from material at the age of 11, a skill she continued to master, and made many of her outfits and that of her family in her later years. Crocheting is something she thrived in from the young age of 9. She was taught by her late mother Joan Dehrmann, grandmother(Ouma), and aunt Ella.

Aunty Ella was the one who focused on teaching the importance of tension in ones crochet work. Her late mother always said - can you wear the outfit inside out, only then is it perfect.

Her late mother-in-law was an excellent knitter and guided her in perfecting her knitting skills.

Being creative is this crafter's way of life.
